Introducing Sheet Fed Wausau Labels New Zealand is a great country for making wine, honey, soaps and other wonderful consumer goods. Lots of these great kiwi companies start small, often hand applying labels at first, and then growing to machine applications. How do you help support that growth while giving them a unique label stock that makes their product stand out? Wausau Coated is a boutique label maker out of the US (based in Wisconsin) and has been one of our supply partners for a number of years with their amazing roll fed products, used mostly for digital machines (hence the 'coating' in their company name). HOMEMADE ORGANIC TEA LABELS

Another simple but beautifully executed label project by the team at PINC for these 'THE WELL' homemade organic tea packaging labels. The adhesive chosen was the new UPM Classic which is an off white, woodfree, narrow ribbed, wet-strength paper which is alkali resistant and mould proof. This product is specifically designed for labels that accentuate aesthetics and a sophisticated style. Crescendo Packaging

Another great example of digital embellishments successfully used in short run packaging. This cool packaging for NZ House of Honey was created by Auckland based digital printers Five Star Print. ICON Crescendo 1 side coated board is an ultra white, premium board with high brightness, clean white styling and a smooth surface. Crescendo is FDA approved (with restrictions) making it safe for food packaging and applications where the scent, taste or purity of a product must be unaffected. This ones a cracker!

This beautifully conceived idea for a Christmas party invite was brought to life with so many special finishing techniques its hard to know where to start!! Auckland print specialists 5 Digital produced this job 100% digitally on their HP indigo High Speed Inkjet press and Esko XN25 Digital Cutting table using our ICON 350gsm Silk Matt. The outside of the box combines 4 colour inkjet technology and is overlaid with a gold digital foil. To give it a soft textured feel the entire job has then been covered with a clear soft touch laminate. Full sheets have then been placed on their high speed Esko Digital cutting table which has creased and cut the design to unveil this larger than life 3D Christmas Cracker. White is the new black

    New Digital toner technology from leading OEM's Ricoh and Fuji Xerox is allowing printers to become increasingly more diverse with the range of capabilities possible. The new Fuji Xerox Iridesse and Ricoh 7200sx have added a 5th colour engine to include white alongside traditional CMYK cartridges. Having white in the press now allows printers to create a base layer under CMYK, producing vibrant images on coloured stocks and transparencies that previously wasnt very effective. Think outside the box

This great little bespoke box was designed, printed and finished by auckland printers Fivestar Print.

Using ICON Kraftpak Kraft and Digituff Heavy Clear film, combined with white and CMYK through their Fuji Xerox Iridesse, a total of 100 personalised boxes were a breeze for their very happy client.
